At The UltraWellness Center, all the physicians are board certified in Family Practice and are experienced in functional, integrative and nutritional medicine. Our nutritionists have specialized training in using food as medical therapy. Our physicians, nutritionists and nurses work together closely and utilize a comprehensive, personalized approach to health.

The practice of medicine is ever changing, and at The UltraWellness Center we use existing and emerging technologies in both diagnosis and treatment. We follow the latest research, and constantly update our methods as new scientifically based therapies and testing become available.

Elizabeth Boham MD, MS, RD, is board certified in family medicine, with a strong background in functional and integrative medicine. She graduated with a B.S. in Nutritional Biochemistry from Cornell University and an M.S. and R.D. in Nutrition Education and Exercise Physiology from Columbia University. Before coming to The UltraWellness Center, she practiced integrative medicine at Canyon Ranch in Lenox, MA and was a partner with Albany Clinical Nutrition Specialists.

Dr. Boham is a young breast cancer survivor who understands first hand how difficult it can be to navigate though the health care system. After being diagnosed at age 30, she became very interested in the causes, prevention and cure of breast cancer. She understands how important it is to look at many different systems in the body when discovering the underlying cause for dysfunction. Functional medicine does this and has helped Dr. Boham answer a lot of these questions. Using this approach she works with people to decrease their risk of getting ill and support their body so that it can heal. She has been very successful in helping many of her patients reverse insulin resistance and diabetes, heart disease, other cancers, and autoimmune illnesses. She has extensive experience in weight control and gastrointestinal dysfunction as well. She understands that not everyone with breast cancer or heart disease is the same and that it is important to investigate what the individual person's underlying cause is, when working to help the body function well.

Dr. Boham speaks on topics ranging from Women's Health and Breast Cancer Prevention to Insulin Resistance and Heart Health. She has been an online expert for Self Magazine and has contributed articles to a variety of magazines and books. She is married and has 2 children, Ama and Tismark. Through her practice and lecturing, Dr. Boham has helped thousands of people achieve their goals of optimum health and wellness.

Todd R. LePine, MD is a graduate of Dartmouth Medical School and is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, specializing in Integrative Functional Medicine. Additionally, he has advanced clinical training through the Institute for Functional Medicine.

The focus of his practice is to help patients achieve optimal health by balancing nutritional biochemistry in the body and to teach people how to adopt healthy lifestyle habits.

In addition to his Functional Medicine Practice, Dr. LePine is the current Clinical Medical Director for Metametrix Laboratories. His responsibilities include teaching physicians the clinical application of advanced biochemical laboratory testing.
