DEBORAH PHILLIPS, MS, LDN, CHES, is a licensed dietetic nutritionist and certified health education specialist. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition from Cornell University and a Master’s degree from Russell Sage College. Deb has additional training in functional and integrative medicine through the Institute for Functional Medicine. She joined The UltraWellness Center in 2007.
In her work at the Center, Deb recognizes that relationship to food plays an important role in her patient’s ability to manage intake. Her focus is to help patients find more pleasure in eating while making changes and moving toward a healthier lifestyle. She believes that as each individual’s nutritional needs are met differently, so too are the paths they take to meet those needs. As an integral member of The UltraWellness Center team, she has worked successfully with many patients on weight management, eating disorders, and treatment of chronic disease.
Deb lectures locally on food and nutrition, and serves on her town’s select board, promoting use of local natural resources. Her pastimes include tennis, hiking, gardening and reading.
