KATHIE SWIFT, MS, RD, LDN, is a Registered Dietitian and Licensed Nutritionist and holds a Master’s degree in Food and Nutrition from Arizona State University. Before joining Dr. Hyman at The UltraWellness Center in 2005, Kathie spearheaded the Functional Medicine program at Canyon Ranch in Lenox, MA, where she served as Nutrition Director for 10 years.
Kathie shares her passion for the healing power of food through her work with patients at The UltraWellness Center. Her culinary nutrition skills and clinical experience lead her to develop a seasonal gluten and dairy-free menu plan, My Foundation Diet, which has helped many individuals with chronic health conditions reclaim their health.
Currently, Kathie participates on scientific advisory boards for The Institute for Functional Medicine, Free and Clear Mind Body Program and The Center for Optimal Health and Prevention Research Foundation.
She loves to read and travel and is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys hiking, rollerblading, skiing and swimming.
