She worked with children diagnosed with critical illnesses including cancers, Cystic Fibrosis, kidney disorders, as well as Pediatric neurological conditions and children with cardiac and congenital heart diseases. After leaving Duke University Hospital, Sue moved to Maryland and expanded her nursing career by working in adult care as a team leader and primary care nursing at Holy Cross Hospital and Shady Grove Adventist Hospital located in the Washington DC area. When she and her family moved back to the Berkshires she worked at a local hospital expanding her nursing knowledge focusing on medical and surgical as well as pediatric nursing.

Always interested in Integrative Medicine, Sue changed her career from hospital nursing for an opportunity to work at Canyon Ranch in the Berkshires as a RN in the Medical Department where she excelled for several years. With her knowledge of Functional and Integrative Medicine Sue desired to branch out and share her knowledge with the community so she took a position with the Wellness at Work program at Berkshire Medical Center. There she was able to be part of a team providing health and wellness screenings, wellness coaching and diabetes education.

She then returned to the UltraWellness Center to continue her career in Functional Medicine Center in September 2019, and feels she is home.
