Functional Medicine Initial Consultation
During the in-office initial session with a patient, we cover everything from an extensive health background, to innovative lab testing and a nutrition plan, followed by a wrap up with a nurse. Together, we create a plan.
This is a comprehensive approach to often complex health issues and therefore, the cost to address the root causes can vary for each person. Below you will find an overview of fees associated with your first visit, along with an explanation of the importance of labs and supplements to the process. Our patient care team and providers will work with you to help estimate your individual costs and prioritize fees to fit your budgetary needs.

Laboratory Testing
Average cost for labs $4,000-$10,000
We offer in house cutting edge lab testing and costs may vary based on doctor recommendations. Your fee for laboratory tests ordered during the first appointment can range and will depend on the complexity of the condition. We will work within your budget to help you prioritize testing. Typically the rate for the lab fees are lower for follow up appointments since most of the labs are done during the first appointment.

Supplements
We find that today’s foods and lifestyles don’t provide adequate amounts of nutrients and minerals. Often, we all need a little help to maintain the best possible balance. Our team will recommend supplements based on your lab results and deficiencies. If you have budgetary constraints, our nutrition team will work closely with you to prioritize the most important supplements to add.

Cancellation Policy
We understand that there are times when you must miss an appointment due to emergencies or obligations for work or family. However, when you do not call to cancel an appointment, you may be preventing another patient from getting much needed treatment. Conversely, the situation may arise where another patient fails to cancel and we are unable to schedule you for a visit, due to a seemingly “full” appointment schedule.
FUNCTIONAL MEDICINE NEW PATIENT APPOINTMENTS:
Due to the overwhelming requests for Functional Medicine consultations, along with all the work that goes into preparing for an initial consultation (reviewing intake forms, background intake with a PA, scheduling travel, etc.), new patient appointments must be secured by a $500 deposit and must be canceled or rescheduled no later than 4 weeks prior to your scheduled physician appointment or it will result in the forfeit of the deposit.
Functional Nutrition appointments must be secured with a $145 deposit, which will be forfeited if the appointment is canceled within one week of the scheduled date.
For all Follow Up appointments there is a 72-business hour cancellation policy. If you cancel with fewer than 72 business hours, you will be charged 100% of the appointment fee.
