Margarita Mocktail
Yields 6 servings
Ingredients:
- 2 cups limeade
- ¼ cup fresh-squeezed lime juice
- ½ cup fresh-squeezed orange juice
- 2-3 cups unflavored seltzer (or you can use a naturally citrus flavored seltzer)
- Salt to taste and for glass rim
- Lime wedge for garnish
- Ice
Directions:
- In a bowl or pitcher, combine all the juices and salt, then stir until combined. Separately, add salt to a plate, wet the rim of the glasses with water and put rim of glass onto the salt. Put ice in the glass, pour juice mixture, top with seltzer, and add lime for garnish. Also consider a fresh cilantro sprig for garnish as well! Ingredients:
- 2 cups pure cranberry juice
- ½ cup fresh-squeezed orange juice
- 2 cups seltzer, plain or flavor of choice
- 3-4 dropperfuls citrus digestive bitters
- 1 orange, sliced
- 1 apple, cored and sliced
- ¼ cup basil leaves
- Ice
Directions:
- Add fruit and basil to a large pitcher, then pour cranberry juice, orange juice, seltzer, and bitters on top. Pour over ice and enjoy! Best to let the fruit sit and marinade for a few hours if time allows.
